Boys Cook, Too!

Meal: Chicken Parmesan, so I thought it would be fun and engaging for the boys to include them in the meal preparation...um truthfully, they were driving me nuts and I needed to find something for them to do before I blew a fuse! :) 

So anyhow, I decide to include them. As boys, they are very hmmm...for lack of better words, GIRLY! I'm just now getting CJ to kill bugs for me! Jeremiah will pick up a bug, however (not quite sure if that's a quality I care to broadcast :/). So marinara mixing was a bit much for them. CJ complained about his hands being dirty...Jeremiah just wanted to mix with a spoon...the list goes on. 

We finally get it done and it was an awesome meal! 

We got to spend quality time together, they learned a new skill, sort of, all while thanking God for a meal.
